Interview with Kay O'Hara

What can one say about Kay O'Hara. She is the definitive blonde bombshell. An icon of modern pinup. But aside from being a flawlessly gorgeous physical speciman, she is about the sweetest person you could ever hope to meet. While I have yet to meet her face to face, we've talked on the phone and even her voice is sweet.

I've done 2 pinups of Kay so far. The first in March of '07 titled "Kay's '34" features the lovely Ms O'Hara perched on a flamed '34 Ford inspired by the car in the film "The California Kid" which left an imprint on my teenage psyche. This early pinup hotrod piece is still one of my favorites and until recently it was featured as the spalsh page of this website.

It's also a very popular t-shirt design. Check out my friend Andoni sporting one.

In October of '07 I did a second pinup of Kay, this time as a sun-bronzed beach goddess in a piece titled "Surf's Up". Kay is such a great subject I think its about time to do another.
