Interview with Ms Redd

When I'm planning a pinup I often look at the models to determine what type of car they most remind me of. To me Ms Redd is built like a 60's muscle car. I thought redhead / red car. My favorite all time muscle car is a red '69 Mustang Mach I and so the pinup titled "Redd Hot '69" came to be in March of 2009. A couple weeks later, in April I was lucky enough to meet the gorgeous Ms Redd at the Viva Las Vegas car show where I presented her with a signed print and got her to autograph one for me. She was very cool and I hope I get to meet her again soon.

What are your top 5 favorite bands? Geez, this is a more personal question to me than asking my bra size. I love music, I am a music junkie. How about the top 5 artist that I never tire of listening to....that's easier for me. 1. Morphine 2. Deftones 3. Tool 4. Jeff Buckley 5. Neil Diamond.

What other pinups work do you admire OR who inspired you? I started out sneaking my father's Playboy's when I was a young girl. He collected them. I would always stare at the photographs but my favorite were the paintings done by Vargas and Olivia. My inspiration came from my mother. I remember being a young girl and playing on the beach with her. She had naturally long auburn red hair, and gorgeous curves. She use to let me pick out her swimwear for the day. I just remember how men reacted to her.....how beautiful she was and still is.

What accessory can't you live without? My heels. You can thank my mother for that one too!

What is your favorite pre 1970 vehicle? I've always wanted a 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Convertible...but I love a bunch of classic cars.

What's your all time favorite movie? I could go on and on about movies as I can music. My first movie I fell in love with and wanted to be in was GREASE. I went out and bought the album the next day. I had been saving my allowance and bought my first record, GREASE with it.

What sage advice do you have to offer new models? Go with your gut. If it feels wrong then don't do it and be yourself.

Do you have any tattoos? Oddly enough, I don't have any tattoos. I know a lot about them and everyone I know has them.

How did you pick your stage name? My nickname in Vegas was Red or Big Red for a while. I am 5'9" flatfooted, so in heels I am over 6' with all this red hair. I came up with red being spelled redd by...well you figure it out by looking at the top half of me. I threw the Ms. part in to make it MS. REDD as in mis-read. Most people misread me, so it just all sort of fit together perfectly.

List one thing people are surprised to learn about you? I am a klutz. At times, I am like Bambi on Ice.
