Interview with Ms Vicious

In September of '09 I held the second Gerardi Girl Pinup Contest on MySpace. Once again the premise was I've got this illustration of a hotrod done. Now I need a model to put in front of it. In an incredibly exciting back and forth battle Ms Vicious managed to emerge the winner by 7 votes. However, it was so close that I decided it was only fair to acknowledge Robin, the 2nd place finisher, also. So I created a pinup featuring both Ms Vicious and Robin titled "Two Hot".

The grand prize also featured inclusion in my 2010 calendar and "Two Hot" made the cover.

What are your top 5 favorite bands? Hootie and the Blowfish….Hanson….haha just playing! I love all kinds of music….its hard to pick just 5! I grew up on everything from country to metal, to oldies, to hip hop! Most people would probably expect me to list a bunch of rockabilly bands….but I would have to say Motley Crue is by far, my all time favorite band…they get me rockin! After that, it changes day to day! I’ve got something for just about everyone in my music collection….unless you like techno…can’t do it…makes me sick!

What other pinups work do you admire OR who inspired you? One of the first modern pinups that caught my eye was Asia DeVinyl. She’s got a fabulous dark look to her and she is just plain sexxxy! I love her curves and overall look. She also happens to be one of the sweetest, most down to earth chicks I have talked to in this industry. All too often it gets to ones head and she seems to have maintained dignity and being humble. I am inspired by a lot of Pin Ups though….this is why I started The Vicious Bettys Pin Up Dolls. I love to promote the girls and share with everyone what they are doing and why they inspire me. All of the girls have been an inspiration to my self, and others for one reason or another. What accessory can't you live without? Its a ring my sister gave me about 10 years ago…initially I stole it from her and moved away from her to So Cal….so when she finally figured out I stole it from her, it became a sentimental piece of jewelry to me. Every time I looked at it, it made me think of her. We were always so close and it was hard to be that far away from one another. Needless to say she let me keep it! I wear it almost everyday and if I lost it I would go into cardiac arrest!!

What is your favorite pre 1970 vehicle and why? 1959 Cadillac Baby! My Aunt Rose had one while I was growing up…white with red interior……every time she drove up in that boat with her big ol’ hair I just thought she looked like the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! I’ve always wanted the same car….and then she sold it….not to me….damn it Aunt Rose!

What's your all time favorite movie? Hands down The Lost Boys…I would also mention that I love the Twilight Saga but I’m afraid I might get jumped….but everyone knows they love themselves some Edward Cullen….you may be a closet Edward fan but you still know you love him!

What sage advice do you have to offer new models? Keep at it because everyone gets frustrated and shot down. It’s no biggie…just keep your chin up, shoulders back, and smile! Don’t get swept away with the drama, protect yourself and just be yourself. Keep your commitments and be on time!

Do you have any tattoos? do they have special meaning? I have a few tattoos! They all mean something to me in one way or another. I would have to say my favorite one is the heart on my arm that says pops and sissy…after my dad and sister. While the quality of the tattoo isn’t the best, the meaning behind it is more important than any of my others….lucky for me its an easy fix….be careful who you let blast your skin kids!

How did you pick your stage name? It was kinda just given to me by friends and the girls I started The Vicious Bettys with almost 6 years ago. They started calling me Ms. Vicious and it just kinda grew on me…too late to change it now haha!

List one thing people are surprised to learn about you? I have a white birthmark on my back….and on my ass cheek I have a dark birth mark that is the same shape as the white one…its like my ass and shoulder were attached before birth haha.
